    1. Great question, sometimes I have a motive or a style I want to paint in my head before I start and sometimes I have nothing in my head and start with random lines and forms. What I experienced is that when I have a goal set in my head my critical ego is way too much present while I paint and in the end I am always unsatisfied with the painting I did. That’s why I always try to flow with the working process and let my ego disappear behind the art I’m doing.
